Interesting Pool Sites on the Web #4
The other day I learned of a new pool blog, new to me at least, when fellow PoolSynergy contributor Samm Diep advised that she had invited the author to participate in our upcoming edition which goes live on March 15th at NYC Grind. I went and had a look, and I must say this Michael Reddick’s got quite an interesting blog. It’s called Angle of Reflection.

It’s a true blog in that it’s a journal of his experiences while trying to become a pro player in two years. He talks about his strategy, how he’s doing, how he’ll track his progress, etc. He also has a few tutorials and I wanted to call attention to one of them, as I thought it was a particularly good post.
He has a series of seven consecutive posts, the first six of which lay out various specific skills and the 7th, The Seven Day Miracle Part 7 of 7, which is the one I’m shouting out about, pulls them all together as he walks through planning for a shot. I thought he did such a great job with this synthesis that I wanted to point it out to you. I haven’t ever seen it done as well and I suggest you check it out.
In my previous posts on other pool websites I’ve posted about a number of them at once, but going forward I’ll be keeping it to one at a time. If you see something particularly deserving of mention, please let me know so I can feature it here. And let me know what you think about Mike’s post with a comment here, and please leave Michael a comment too (we bloggers love comments, they make us feel warm and fuzzy).
